December 18, 2017 - Valrico, Florida - On Monday, December 4, 2017, the Brandon Regional Hospital Board of Trustees elected attorney Robert W. Bivins, of Bivins & Hemenway, P.A., as its new Chairman for the 2018 Board year. The Brandon Regional Hospital Board of Trustees oversees hospital policy and strategic planning. In 2017, the hospital, based in Brandon, Florida, completed a major upgrade and expansion of its main campus Emergency Department, including the grand opening of a new pediatric emergency area, as well as the introduction of new state of the art robotic surgical facilities. The hospital also looks forward to opening a new free-standing emergency facility in the Temple Terrace community in early 2018.
