Barak Bacharach is an associate in Barton’s litigation group. He has handled matters involving securities, employment, and corporate disputes before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority ("FINRA"), the American Arbitration Association ("AAA"), and state and federal courts. Barak is also experienced in litigating and prosecuting intellectual property matters before federal courts and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”), as well as the U.S. Court of International Trade.

Barak received his J.D. from Columbia Law School where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, member of the Science and Technology Law Review, and a 2020 Columbia Law Public Interest Honoree. While in law school Barak interned for Magistrate Judge Steven L. Tiscione of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and served as a research assistant to Professor Abraham Wagner, an expert in national security and information privacy law.

Between college and law school, Barak worked as a software engineer for Epic Systems Corporation where he assisted hospital internal tech support staff with technical issues, wrote SQL queries and MUMPS code, and troubleshooted client portal issues and digital report configurations.

Barak is fluent in Hebrew.
