Stefano Abbasciano is an attorney with the firm’s employment, litigation and immigration practices. Mr. Abbasciano assists individuals and business entities in employment, pre-litigation, and litigation matters. He also provides counsel to business entities and individuals in immigration matters, with a focus on business immigration.
Mr. Abbasciano obtained his law degree (JD equivalent) from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, in 2003, and practiced law in Italy before relocating to the United States. Subsequently, he achieved an LL.M from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2015.
Prior to joining Brothers Smith LLP, Mr. Abbasciano worked at a firm in San Francisco with a focus on representing foreign entities and individuals in their business ventures in the United States, and more recently he was a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice, focusing on employment and administrative mandate litigation.
Mr. Abbasciano is licensed to practice law in California and in the District of Columbia, and was licensed to practice law in Italy (currently inactive). Mr. Abbasciano is proficient in German and fluent in Italian.
