Karolyn is an associate in the firm’s Birmingham office and represents clients in civil litigation with a focus on insurance defense, construction, transportation, and professional liability.

Before joining Christian & Small, Karolyn clerked for the Honorable Karoline Mehalchick in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Karolyn graduated cum laude from Tulane University in 2017 and received her Juris Doctorate from Tulane University School of Law in 2022. While at Tulane, Karolyn was a distinguished pro-bono recipient, where she provided more than 150 hours of legal aid to the New Orleans community and served as a student attorney in Tulane’s First Amendment Clinic.

Originally from Louisiana, Karolyn enjoys exploring all her adopted city offers. She loves to run through Railroad Park and visit museums in Birmingham.
