Sean grew up across the United States but after years in Chicago, Boston, and Washington DC, decided to call Houston his home. He graduated from Boston University with an undergraduate degree in Russian History, after which he worked at the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C. While working for the Commerce Committee in the Office of the Chairman, Sean garnered valuable experience in regulatory oversight, government relations, and legislative process while serving the subcommittee that authorized the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

After working in both the individual member and committee offices for the Senate, Sean moved back to Chicago and obtained his law degree from Loyola University School of Law, Chicago, where he participated in the mock trial and international law journal competitions that were held nationwide. Sean’s Corboy Mock Trial Team won the statewide competition for Illinois and competed at the federal level.

Prior to joining Donato Brown Pool & Moehmann, Sean worked for one of the largest plaintiff’s firms in Texas representing individuals, businesses, and municipalities, where Sean gained valuable insight into both what motivates and animates the client and counsel on either side of the bar. In his practice, Sean has litigated claims for both plaintiffs and defendants in numerous practice areas, including maritime, product liability, construction, and personal injury.  Sean also was privileged to work for an esteemed policy analysis firm in Washington D.C., where he worked in an academic position scoring and critiquing the federal budget process.
