For 30 years, Greg has practiced with the firm in the area of commercial litigation, with some focus on general contract disputes, commercial real estate, commercial leases, risk management and casualty matters (including coverage questions and lost policy issues), and complex product liability litigation.
In 2014, the Supreme Court of the United States appointed Greg as a Special Master to preside over a multi-state water rights dispute; he concluded that work in 2018. In 2010, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights appointed Greg to a two-year term as chair of its Louisiana State Advisory Committee (SAC), whose charter is to gather information about issues within the SAC’s jurisdiction and report to the USCCR in Washington, D.C.
Greg has handled interdictions on behalf of a healthcare facility and also on behalf of the trust department of a financial institution. Greg has served as an expert witness in state and federal courts on the reasonableness of attorney fee claims. He has been appointed as an ad hoc member of the Lawyer Disciplinary Committee of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
