Jordan is an associate attorney with trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts. He has extensive experience in construction, transportation, product liability, and mass tort litigation, and regularly defends his clients against lawsuits with potential seven- and eight-figure exposures. He was selected for inclusion by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2016 for construction, business, transportation, product liability, and appellate litigation.

Jordan has also represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of other disputes, including class actions, business disputes, professional liability claims, civil rights claims, and declaratory judgment actions.

Aside from litigation, Jordan has advised clients on how to anticipate, prevent, and address issues affecting their businesses. For example, he has drafted and reviewed business formation documents, contracts for goods and services, leases, employment agreements, employee handbooks and personnel policies, and workplace safety guidelines.

Outside of work, Jordan has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Legal Prep Charter Academy, a free, open enrollment high school in Chicago’s West Side that provides a legal themed college-preparatory education to underprivileged students. He has also prepared wills, living wills, and powers of attorney for first responders through the Wills For Heroes Foundation.

Education/Bar Admissions

Mr. Tank graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2010, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.

Mr. Tank was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2010. He has also been admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (including the trial bar) and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
