Kyle focuses his practice on family law, including divorce, spousal support, child support, child custody, and adoptions. Kyle is a court-approved mediator in the seventh circuit, and he is regularly appointed to represent children and parents in abuse and neglect proceedings. He is admitted to practice law in the state courts of South Dakota.

Kyle grew up in Iowa, attended Iowa State University, and graduated from Drake University Law School with high honors. After graduating in 2009, he started his own law firm in Rapid City, The Law Office of Kyle Krause, Prof. LLC, where he focused on family law matters such as divorce, custody, support, adoption, mediation, and child abuse and neglect.  Kyle joined Lynn Jackson in 2023.  

Kyle is a member of the American Bar Association, Family Law Committee of the State Bar Association, and is a past president of the Pennington County Bar Association.  He is also a member of the Rapid City Downtown Lions Club, where he has served as president, treasurer, and board member of the South Dakota Lions Foundation.    

Kyle and his wife have two children who keep them busy.  Kyle also enjoys coaching youth soccer, golfing, hunting, and fishing.
