I joined the Family Law Group at Mann Lawyers in 2021 after gaining extensive experience at a regional law firm in Ottawa. I have a B.A. from Carleton University, obtained my J.D from the University of Ottawa and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2015.
My practice focuses exclusively on family law and divorce cases and I am experienced in litigation, negotiation, mediation and dispute resolution. My clients trust me to recognize the unique complexities of their case and my approach is solutions based and practical.
Experienced with all levels of court in Ontario, including The Court of Appeal for Ontario, my expertise encompasses complex divisions of property, income disputes, child and spousal support, other financial aspects of family law as well as high conflict parenting and mobility matters. I also have experience advising spouses and lawyers on bankruptcy and family law issues, interjurisdictional issues and Hague Convention matters. I have extensive experience negotiating, drafting and reviewing all forms of domestic contracts including Marriage Contracts, Cohabitation Agreements and Separation Agreements.
A regular guest lecturer at the University of Ottawa Law School, I participate in speaking engagements on various family law topics at conferences and in the media. I have been a guest speaker at the Women’s Business Network in Ottawa and was awarded the Inaugural Fellowship for the Legal Ethics and Professionalism Speaker Series. I’ve also contributed to a leading book, “Solicitor-Client Privilege” written by the former dean of uOttawa’s Law School, Adam Dodek.
I am a member of the following: Law Society of Ontario, Canadian Bar Association, County of Carleton Lawyers’ Association, Carleton University Alumni Association, University of Ottawa Alumni Association and Ontario Collaborative Law Federation.
Regularly recommended by other lawyers and former clients, I focus on achieving what is best for my clients and work hard to build a relationship of trust. I offer practical legal advice to ensure my clients make informed decisions.
In my spare time, I love to travel. I have gone hang-gliding in Switzerland, zip lining in Mexico and surfing in Hawaii. I also love to cook for friends and family.
