Mr. Schroeder received his B.A. from The Ohio State University, his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo, and studied Comparative Law and Legal History at the prestigious University of Cambridge.
Following law school Mr. Schroeder served as the staff attorney for the Honorable Alan Mayberry, then spent several years with Schroeder, Blankemeyer, and Schroeder, where he maintained a practice devoted to civil litigation. However, a passion and drive to help victims led Mr. Schroeder to become a prosecutor, where he served as Chief of the felony prosecution division and was lead trial attorney in over 100 jury and bench trials involving serious, sensitive, and high profile cases.
During this time Mr. Schroeder provided trainings to law enforcement, created a sexual assault case law review, served on the Ohio Family Violence Prevention Advisory Council, accepted invitations to provide legal presentations to state-wide and regional audiences, provided proponent testimony to the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee in support of legislation seeking to create Strangulation as a stand-alone felony crime, and was the recipient of numerous awards. Mr. Schroeder has served as Special Prosecutor in high profile cases involving police misconduct. As an Adjunct Instructor, Mr. Schroeder has taught more than 50 college law classes.
The drive to assist and provide justice to victims who have been injured by the negligent or reckless conduct of others led Mr. Schroeder to join McKeen and Associates.
