Quinn understands that when you or a loved one suffers a catastrophic injury, you need help navigating the minefield that awaits. From communicating with insurance companies, to interacting with medical providers, to ultimately convincing a jury that her client is deserving of compensation, Quinn is dedicated to telling an injured victim’s story in a way that highlights the everyday victories of her client and their family. Victims of negligent or reckless conduct are not defined solely by the life-changing injuries they suffer, they are defined by their ability to overcome the challenges presented by those injuries – Quinn understands this and strives every day to tell her clients’ stories of triumph.
Prior to joining Ogborn Mihm, LLP, Quinn was a Senior Deputy Public Defender with the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender, where she learned how to be an organized and competent litigator. Her courtroom experience is vast, working with clients of all ages, as Quinn primarily defended juvenile individuals charged with various criminal offenses. Quinn has successfully litigated 30 court and jury trials to verdict and managed hundreds of cases ranging from misdemeanors to felony charges, including homicide and felony sexual assault. As a public defender, Quinn’s communication skills, desire to develop creative solutions for her clients facing unknown futures, and her persuasive argument skills were tried and tested. Quinn’s prior trial work gave her the opportunity to develop and hone her skills to represent clients with an in-depth knowledge on how to navigate risky and complex issues.
Quinn also has the unique perspective of working at a large insurance defense firm in the Denver area. This prior experience of defending personal injury cases on behalf of insurance carriers has afforded Quinn with the opportunity to understand how insurance companies evaluate cases. Quinn is able take her knowledge of how an insurance carrier evaluates her client’s case and use it to critically, compassionately and zealously advocate for her clients at all stages of a personal injury case to achieve the best resolution.
Quinn earned her J.D. from the Sturm College of Law, University of Denver. While in law school, Quinn participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic and was a Research Assistant for Professor Robin Walker Sterling.
