With more than 20 years of experience, Gus Themelis represents clients nationwide and has successfully tried dozens of jury trials and hundreds of bench trials. He represents a diverse array of clients in state and federal courts in his commercial and business litigation practice, which includes franchise disputes, insurance litigation, commercial real estate development, construction claims and matters involving breach of contract, fraud, and admiralty.

In addition to his commercial and business litigation work, Mr. Themelis has extensive experience in complex toxic tort litigation, products liability, and medical malpractice. Prior to joining Thomas & Libowitz, P.A., Mr. Themelis litigated scores of toxic tort matters, including lead paint, carbon monoxide and other chemical exposures, and participated in multiple trials representing a material handling equipment manufacturer in a multi-state catastrophic injury product liability litigation.

Mr. Themelis is an avid soccer fan. He played Division I soccer at Loyola University. He serves on the Board of Directors as President of the Baltimore Union Soccer Club, which is a youth soccer club in the Perry Hall/Whitemarsh area. Mr. Themelis has a USSF D Soccer Coaching License and enjoys coaching his children.
