W. Randall Hutton, born Bryan, Texas, April 14, 1961. Preparatory education: University of Texas, Tyler (B.S. with Honors, 1988); UTT Distinguish Student Award (1988); Presidential Scholar (1985-1987); and Fraternity: Alpha Chi Honor Society. Legal education: Texas Tech School of Law (J.D., Cum Laude, 1991); Board of Regents Scholar (1990-1992); Fraternity: Phi Kappi Phi Honor Society. Admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1992. Member: San Antonio Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. Randy has been selected by his peers as among the Best Lawyers in San Antonio as published in Scene in S.A., for his expertise in workers compensation.
Randy concentrates his practice primarily in the ever-changing area of Texas Workers Compensation Law. He serves as liaison to the Texas Department of Insurance and oversees the accreditation concerns of continuing education programs offered to the firm’s clients. Randy regularly lectures on contemporary workers’ compensation topics, consumer protection, and ethics.
Randy is very active in the Spring Branch/Bulverde community. He is on the Board of Directors of Acacia Medical Mission, a nonprofit, faith based, healthcare organization serving the uninsured and underinsured patients of Comal and Blanco Counties. Randy is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where he has taught “Sunday School” in St. Paul’s adult continuing education programs. He also participates in the Community Justice Program; Habitat for Humanity; Street Tacos; Sole to Sole 5k; and youth programs organized through Bulverde Little League and the San Antonio YMCA, including baseball, football and basketball. Randy is currently blessed with three grandchildren.
