Mr. Xu graduated from College of Precision Instrument & Opto-electronics Engineering of Tianjin University with master degree in optics engineering. He joined the State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C (SIPO) after graduation from the college, and became a patent examiner of the Department of Opto-electronics. Mr. Xu handled the patent examination of the technical field of image forming, such as digital cameras, LCD display, optical lens,3D imaging. Mr. Xu accumulated rich experience in patent search and patentability analysis.
After being a patent examiner for 6-years, Mr. Xu joined Watson & Band in 2012. He engages mainly in domestic and overseas patent prosecution, including translation, application documents drafting, response to office actions, and he has engaged in a number of patent invalidation and patent infringement litigations in various fields, such as optical devices/system, communication devices/system for many clients.
