Mr. Qiu’s primary practice areas include corporate legal services, private equity, M&A and civil and commercial litigation. He has been focusing on these practice areas throughout his career.
Mr. Qiu serves as legal counsel for a number of government agencies, enterprises and public institutions, for which he provides routine legal services and comprehensive legal support covering:
- drafting of rules and regulations;
- contract review;
- legal consultation;
- negotiation of critical issues;
- settlement of credits and debts;
- issuance of lawyer’s letters; and
- labor dispute resolution.
Mr. Qiu also provides legal advice on the feasibility of major decisions and issues risk forecasts concerning the operation and management of his clients’ companies.
Mr. Qiu has completed a multitude of private equity and M&A projects. He has also served as legal counsel in special projects for several investment management institutions. Specifically, he has provided comprehensive legal services throughout the establishment of venture capital funds and private equity funds for these institutions, including comprehensive legal support for these institutions and their products. His support includes risk management advice, investment consulting, M&A verification, transaction planning and project design and implementation, among other services.
Mr. Qiu possesses rich judicial practice experience and highly developed skills in various practice areas. He has completed around a hundred litigation cases involving civil and commercial issues such as commercial contracts, real estate projects, equity disputes, intellectual property rights, labor disputes, etc.
