Mr. Cui majored in mechanical manufacturing and automation and graduated from Tong Ji University with a Master degree in Engineering. Mr. Cui joined Watson & Band in 2005 and mainly handles cases in technical fields related to automobiles, mechanics and mechanical and electronic engineering. He is especially skilled in patents relating to automobile structure and manufacturing, image forming apparatus, precision mechanics and automation equipment, and has accumulated rich experience therein. During his service at Watson & Band, he has engaged in both domestic and foreign patent applications, with a service rage covering drafting patent documentations, observations to office actions in substantial examination, translation and correction of translation, search, submitting public opinions, evaluation in patent invalidation procedure and oral hearing, and evaluation in patent infringement analysis process, all of which provide him with profound understandings and knowledge in the patent field. Mr. Cui is especially skilled in drafting patent documentations, preparing observations to office actions and evaluation in the patent invalidation procedure.
Mr. Cui has participated in several IP analysis and evaluation projects for a number of large domestic or foreign companies and in the codification of the book – Attorney's Practice Guide for Intellectual Property and Commercial Cases.
