Jonathan Staudt focuses his practice on patents, trademarks, patent litigation, and other related intellectual property matters. Jon counsels and represents a wide range of clients with their intellectual property legal needs.

Clients include entrepreneurial inventors and small and medium businesses in the technology and medical industries.

Jon originally focused his career on electrical engineering and served as an intern for a global energy company. After working in the industry and seeing the exposure clients could have in their intellectual property portfolios, he ultimately decided to use his knowledge to pivot into a legal role to help protect clients’ ideas and products.

At the University of Central Florida, Jon was a Florida Bright Futures Academic Scholar, a merit award based on high school academic achievement providing recipients with funding toward their first baccalaureate degree.

Jon enjoys spending time improving his Tiny House where he currently resides and applying his engineering background and inspiration from using space-saving technology, ideas, and products to maximize space and utilization.
